If you run a business, you are probably drowning in busy work. Confirming reservations. Following up on leads that go cold in two hours. Re-typing the same intake form into your CRM. Answering the same five questions on the phone all day.
You don't need another SaaS subscription. You need a system that does the work for you.
That's what BTR.WRK builds.
What we actually do
We are not a SaaS company. We are not selling you another dashboard to log into. We build custom AI automations that plug into the tools you already use — your booking system, your phone, your inbox, your CRM, your POS — and quietly do the work in the background.
A typical engagement looks like this:
- Free 30-minute audit. We map your operations and find the three highest-leverage places where AI can save you time or capture more revenue.
- Discovery and design (week 1). We document exactly what the automation needs to do, where it connects, and what could break.
- Build and ship (weeks 2-3). We build it. You test it on a small slice of your real workflow.
- Cutover (week 4). It goes live. We monitor it. You stop doing the busy work.
Total time from kickoff to a working system in production: under 30 days. Most of our work lands inside two weeks.
The kinds of automations we build
Every business is different, but the patterns repeat. Here are the most common things we ship for operators:
Lead capture and response
A prospect fills out your form at 11pm on a Saturday. Within 90 seconds they get a personalized SMS, a calendar link, and an email. By Monday morning you have a qualified, booked lead instead of a forgotten Slack notification.
Phone agents that actually work
An AI voice agent picks up after-hours calls, handles 70% of standard requests (booking, hours, directions, status check), and transcribes the rest into a triage queue for your team to handle Monday morning.
Reservation and waitlist automation
For restaurants: confirmation SMS, predictive deposit asks for high-risk bookings, waitlist management that texts diners when their table is ready, and AI that handles the constant "what's our wait time" texts.
Outreach sequences with reply detection
For agencies and B2B services: cold email sequences that pause the moment a real human replies (not an out-of-office or autoresponder), with conversation handoff to your inbox.
Internal operations
Invoice extraction from PDFs, intake form re-typing eliminated, time tracking pulled directly from calendar events, weekly summary reports written by AI from your raw data.
Why this matters now
The market is moving fast. Wages are rising. Hiring is harder than it has been in a decade — especially for the kind of repetitive, high-attention, low-creativity work that fills most operators' Mondays.
You have two options. You can keep hiring. Or you can build a system that absorbs the repetitive work and lets the team you already have focus on the parts of the business that actually need a human.
We think the second option is the right answer for most operators. And we think it should cost a fraction of what hiring another person would.
A typical BTR.WRK build runs $5,000-15,000 one-time, plus the cost of the underlying API usage (usually $20-200/month depending on volume). Compare that to a $45k/year admin role and the math gets obvious fast.
What we will not do
A few things we explicitly will not sell you:
- Generic AI chatbots that don't know your business. If we can't connect it to your real data, it's not worth shipping.
- "AI strategy" decks. We build things that run in production. We don't do PowerPoint engagements.
- Lock-in. Everything we build is yours. Code, prompts, configuration, schemas. If you fire us, you keep the system.
- Hype. We are operators, not consultants. If a problem is better solved by a $30/month tool you already have, we will tell you.
How we work
We are remote-first, serving businesses anywhere in the country. We work with operators across the United States — a dental practice on one coast, a marketing agency in the middle of the country, a contractor several time zones away — and the process is the same wherever you are. Most of an engagement happens over a screen share and a shared inbox, so geography never slows the build down.
Where to start
If you run a business — anywhere in the country — and you're spending real time on tasks that feel mechanical, start with a free audit. Thirty minutes, zero pitch. We will tell you where AI fits and where it doesn't.
If the audit doesn't surface at least three concrete time-saving automations, we will tell you that too.
That's the deal.
